DIRECTV Rolls Out a New User Interface To Its Gemini Streaming Devices & Coming to Roku, Fire TV, & More Later This Year

Today, DIRECTV announced that it has updated its Gemini streaming players with a new user interface called Your TV. This new user interface offers a new home screen to show you the programs you are most interested with. This new Your TV area replaces the older What’s on Now interface.

“The growing fragmentation of content across multiple apps and video services means it is increasingly more difficult for customers to find the shows and games they want. DIRECTV’s Your TV provides Gemini users who stream DIRECTV with a customized view of the entertainment or sports content they love the most, all in one place, including scores and stats for their favorite teams,” said Vince Torres, chief marketing offer of DIRECTV.

This interface includes live scores for sporting games, and you continue watching to pick up where you left off.

DIRECTV says this update is now rolling out to DIRECTV Gemini streaming players and will soon be available to Roku and Fire TV devices later this year.
