DIRECTV NOW Is Sending Out Fire TV DVR Invites

If you are still waiting for your DVR invite, today may be your lucky day. AT&T has recently picked up the rate that they have started to invite DIRECTV NOW subscribers into the DIRECTV NOW app and DVR beta.

Yesterday AT&T sent out a large number of invites to the Fire TV version of the DIRECTV NOW app and DVR beta; however, many readers are saying the invites are going into their spam folder. So if you want access to the beta make sure to check your spam folder.

All signs are pointing to the DIRECTV NOW DVR coming out soon. (Though still likely sometime early 2018 maybe around CES.) Recently DIRECTV NOW has been sending out invites to a growing list of users to test out their DVR. It looks like AT&T is running a final stress test on the new DIRECTV NOW app and DVR.

It is likely that AT&T is in the process of getting the back end ready to hold up to a flood of new users.

For now, we will have to wait and see when AT&T launches their new DIRECTV NOW app and DVR.
