DIRECTV NOW Adds DVR Support To Their Roku Beta

Great news for Roku owners today AT&T started rolling the DIRECTV NOW Beta DVR to Roku players. Now for the first time, DIRECTV NOW’s Roku Beta testers can setup DVR recordings and watch them on Roku devices.

With this update every device DIRECTV NOW officially supports has access to the DIRECTV NOW DVR Beta. Though before you can access the DVR on the Roku beta you will need to update your Roku in the settings to get the most recent version of the DIRECTV NOW Roku Beta.

Update: It does seem that this update is being rolled out as some of our Roku devices have the updated beta and others still do not.

Here is a first look at the new DIRECTV NOW Roku Channel running on a Roku. (Note this was recorded before AT&T added DVR support.)

It is likely that by tomorrow all Roku players will get access to the new DIRECTV NOW Roku Beta Channel with DVR support.
