DIRECTV NOW Just Added MSG & MSG+

Three happy young men watching football game and keeping arms raised while sitting on sofaToday DIRECTV NOW quietly added the MSG Networks to become the second live TV streaming service to launch the company’s iconic regional sports networks (RSNs) – MSG and MSG+.  The addition comes just in time for the second half of the NBA and NHL seasons.

Update: It looks like MSG may now be available nationwide at this time.

Update #2: We can now confirm that you can log into the MSGgo apps with DIRECTV NOW.

DIRECTV NOW will likely carry the MSG Networks in their current markets including the greater New York City metro area and all of New York State. Now DIRECTV NOW subscribers will have access to New York Knicks; New York Rangers; New York Islanders; New Jersey Devils; Buffalo Sabres; New York Liberty; New York Red Bulls and the Westchester Knicks games – in addition to in-depth team coverage of the New York Giants and Buffalo Bills in these markets.

No official announcement has come from AT&T yet about the deal but DIRECTV NOW subscribers living in these areas will already find it live on DIRECTV NOW. With this being a regional sports network it is likely you will need the Just Right or higher package to access MSG and MSG+.

MSG and MSG+ will join YES sports in parts of the New York Markets giving New York sports fans a new option to watch all of their favorite sports.
