Readers today have told Cord Cutters News that KCAL 9 the CBS affiliate in Los Angeles, California is now streaming on DIRECTV NOW. Now as best as we can tell most CBS owned and operated stations are now on DIRECTV NOW.
The following are all the CBS stations that CBS currently owns:
- Alexandria, Minnesota
- Baltimore
- Boston
- Chicago
- Denver
- Detroit
- Fort Worth
- Los Angeles
- Miami
- Minneapolis
- New York City
- Philadelphia
- Pittsburgh
- San Francisco
- Stockton, California
- Walker, Minnesota
We also recently learned that CBS and Sinclair had agreed to renew four new CBS affiliates that Sinclair owns. According to reports, this means that these 4 new CBS affiliates will be streaming soon on DIRECTV NOW & YouTube TV. (What does soon mean? We have no idea could be months from now.)
That deal with Sinclair includes KGAN-TV, Cedar Rapids, Iowa; KGBT-TV in Harlingen, Texas, and WGME-TV in Portland, Me., plus WTVH-TV in Syracuse. (Note Sinclair recently struck a deal with CBS for many of their other CBS owned stations.)
