Now we are getting reports that DIRECTV NOW has started to add more ABC affiliates including ABC 33/40 in Birmingham, Alabama. This is a Sinclair Broadcast Group station and it joins a long list of Sinclair owned Stations. (I have also heard that in Flordia some ABC stations have been added but we can not confirm that at this time.)
Recently DIRECTV NOW has been pushing out local affiliates in small groups so don’t be surprised if your local Sinclair owned ABC affiliate is not live yet in your area. It is likely coming but as of today, it is not there.
Recently DIRECTV NOW announced plans to add 45 more locals. So far this week they have added CBS owned and operated CBS affiliates and now a handful of Sinclair owned ABC affiliates. AT&T says more ABC, Fox, and NBC affiliates will be added soon but no date has been set at this time.
