DIRECTV NOW is Rolling Out a Beta Update Tonight – Service Interruption is Possible

Channel Surfing ManJust a few minutes ago DIRECTV NOW started to email beta testers about a system upgrade that will be happening tonight. From 4 PM to 10 PM Pacific DIRECTV NOW beta testers may experience some limited outages.

This update seems to be on the back end and will affect all DIRECTV NOW beta testers. Looking at the email though only beta testers should experience any possible interruption.

Here is the email from DIRECTV NOW:

Hello Testers,

This evening we will be upgrading a few things.  This upgrade will run from 4 – 10 PM PST.  During this time you will still be able to beta test as usual, although you might experience intermittent streaming issues.  We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Thanks again for testing along with us.
