DIRECTV NOW Is Offering $30 in Credits If You Stay

Watching tv and using remote controlAre you upset with DIRECTV NOW? Do you plan to cancel over the $10 price hike that starts rolling out in April? DIRECTV NOW is offering some customers a $10 off DIRECTV NOW if you stay for three more months.

Over the last few days multiple readers have told Cord Cutters News that after they canceled DIRECTV NOW AT&T sent them emails offering them $10 off for three months if they sign back up. We have also heard that chat support is offering the same deal if you threaten to quit.

Some readers have reported receiving it as a $10 credit that should be applied in $10 increments over the next two months. Others are reporting that the full $30 discount is being applied as a credit on their account right now.

This deal is not available on the DIRECTV NOW website. You need to get it from chat or hope AT&T will email you after you cancel. One important thing to remember is if you cancel, AT&T says you will not get your old package back. You will need to pick from one of the new packages unless you are lucky and get this email allowing you to restore your account with your old package and the $10 discount for three months. So, we would not recommend canceling just to try and get a $10 discount.

Update: Some readers are reporting that AT&T has added this offer to the DIRECTV NOW cancelation page. Just before you cancel you may see a banner offering $30 in credits if you stay.
