DIRECTV NOW Is Adding More FOX Affiliates

Yesterday DIRECTV NOW quietly started to add new FOX affiliates including KLRT FOX 16 in Little Rock, Arkansas. KLRT is owned by Mission Broadcasting, which also owns five other FOX affiliates in Grand Junction, Hardin-Billings, Erie, Amarillo, and Wichita Falls-Lawton. At this time we can only confirm that the Little Rock KLRT has been added, but we expect other FOX affiliates will be added soon.

In total Mission Broadcasting owns 21 networks around the United States including ABC, CBS, FOX, NBC, and The CW networks. We are hopeful they will offer all of their networks for streaming online. Even if they are not online now they are likely in the process of being set up. DIRECTV NOW has a history of launching locals as soon as they are ready even if all of their partner networks are not live yet.

DIRECTV NOW seems to be in a close fight for second place in the race for the most live locals. Currently, Hulu leads the pack with over 600 live locals and DIRECTV NOW, YouTube TV, fuboTV, and PlayStation Vue are all fighting it out to be the next up.
