DIRECTV NOW Brings Back Comcast SportsNets (CSN)

When DIRECTV NOW first came out it included Comcast SportsNet (CSN), but it quickly disappeared. Sadly we never did get a clear answer as to why DIRECTV NOW pulled CSN from its service but now it is back.

Over the weekend DIRECTV NOW added the last few CSNs that had still been missing. You still must live in an area that has CSN to have access, but for those who do this is great news.

CSN also arrives just in time for Major League Baseball to kick off in a couple of weeks.

The reappearance of CSN to DIRECTV NOW comes just days after Sling TV added CSN to its Sling Blue plan. We do not know if this was a factor in AT&T’s decision to bring CSN back to DIRECTV NOW; however, the timing is interesting.

There are still a few regional sports networks not available to cord cutters, but that list is shrinking. Hopefully more channels will see the success that services such as Sling TV and DIRECTV NOW can offer that they will jump on board.

As always every month cord cutting gets better.
