DIRECTV NOW Adds Cheddar

Today DIRECTV NOW added the news channel Cheddar to their lineup. As best we can tell no official announcement has been made but over night DIRECTV NOW quietly added Cheddar.

Cheddar is already streaming live on Sling TV, Hulu, YouTube TV, fuboTV, and Philo to name a few. You can also watch a version of Cheddar free on select streaming services like Pluto TV. Yet it is important to remember the version that airs on services like DIRECTV NOW is different from the one on free services. The paid version gives you additional live coverage not available on other platforms.

“AT&T operates one of the largest and best video platforms in the world, and we are thrilled to be available to their subscribers – whether it’s in their home or on-the-go,” said Jon Steinberg, Founder and CEO of Cheddar. “Our expanded distribution through AT&T opens up so many new audiences for Cheddar while giving our existing viewers and followers more ways to tune-in and enjoy our content.”

Cheddar describes themselves as a “new video news network focused on covering the most innovative products, technologies, and services transforming our lives. The network covers this news through the lens of the companies and executives driving these changes.”

This is breaking news and we will update this story as we learn more.
