Update: DIRECTV NOW just officially emailed subscribers about the addition of CBS on-demand.
This will not be the first time DIRECTV NOW has done something like this. Recently DIRECTV NOW added The CW on-demand content to all DIRECTV NOW subscribers. This means even if you do not get the channel live you can watch the shows on demand.
CBS owns The CW so it is no surprise to see them offering on demand for both networks.
At the time we are writing this it looks like AT&T is in the middle of uploading shows to DIRECTV NOW subscribers. Slowly new shows are showing up and additional episodes added.
If you want to take a look at what CBS on-demand content DIRECTV NOW is offering just search for CBS. You should find a CBS icon in your search allowing you to see all of the on-demand content currently available.
