DIRECTV NOW is Adding More The CW Affiliates

Well, it looks like some Tribune Broadcasting owned The CW Affiliates have started to show up on DIRECTV NOW. Today we have heard from several readers that CW shows are starting to show up the guide if you search for them. This seems to be happening in Tribune Broadcasting owned markets including KTLA in Los Angeles, CA. This marks the first time a non-CBS owned The CW affiliate will be showing up on DIRECTV NOW.

Update: We are also getting word that Bahakel Communications owned The CW networks have started to show up.

Update #2: We are starting to hear some Sinclair owned CW affiliates are now LIVE on DIRECTV NOW. As best we can tell on demand is rolling out in many markets and live in a few. We will keep updating the story as we learn more.

Tribuen Broadcasting currently owns 12 The CW affiliates around the United States. Now I know this sounds like a broken record but this does not mean all of them will be added as recently DIRECTV NOW has been rolling out affiliates as they are ready vs waiting till all of them are ready.

This will be the 4th time this month that DIRECTV NOW has added more locals. Earlier this month they added more NBC and FOX affiliates around the United States.
