DIRECTV Adds More Locals To Its Cheaper Sports Package But Can You Get Yours? Here is a Full List of What Local ABC, CBS, FOX, & NBC Stations Are Available in Major Markets

DIRECTV has significantly broadened the reach of its MySports streaming package, a sports-focused offering tailored for fans seeking live games without the clutter of unnecessary channels. Launched in January 2025, the MySports package now provides access to local ABC, CBS, FOX, and NBC affiliates in numerous top Designated Market Areas (DMAs) across the United States. This expansion enhances the package’s appeal, delivering local sports content, including NFL and college football games, to sports enthusiasts in major metropolitan areas and beyond.

The MySports package, priced at $69.99 per month with a promotional rate of $59.99 for the first two months, includes over 25 sports channels such as ESPN, TNT, TBS, TruTV, NFL Network, NBA TV, MLB Network, and NHL Network, alongside ESPN Unlimited at no additional cost. A key feature of the package is its inclusion of local broadcast stations, which vary by market, ensuring fans can watch regionally significant games, such as NFL broadcasts on FOX or CBS, or college sports on ABC and NBC. The package also offers unlimited cloud DVR and streaming compatibility on platforms like Roku, Amazon Fire, and Apple TV, making it a flexible option for cord-cutters.

As of September 2025, DIRECTV has secured agreements with major broadcast groups, including Nexstar Media, Gray Media Group, Sinclair Broadcast Group, and owned-and-operated stations from ABC, CBS, FOX, and NBC, to provide local channels in 122 DMAs, with comprehensive coverage in the top 50 markets. This expansion ensures that sports fans in major cities like New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, and Dallas-Ft. Worth have access to all four major local networks—ABC, CBS, FOX, and NBC. Other markets, such as Raleigh-Durham, Portland, and Indianapolis, may have partial availability, with some networks still pending inclusion due to ongoing negotiations with affiliate owners.

DIRECTV’s MySports package stands out in the crowded streaming market by offering a sports-centric solution that prioritizes affordability and flexibility. While competitors like YouTube TV and Fubo require broader packages that include non-sports channels, MySports focuses exclusively on sports content, making it an attractive option for fans who want to avoid paying for unwanted programming. The inclusion of local stations in nearly all top 50 DMAs, with ongoing efforts to add remaining affiliates, positions MySports as a robust choice for sports fans nationwide. DIRECTV plans to further enhance the package by adding more local stations and potentially regional sports networks in the future, ensuring even greater access to live sports content.
