DIRECTV has more options to it its Mix Channels multiview feature, which allows viewers to watch multiple live networks at once on a single screen. No need to flip between channels, you can now watch multiple channels in the same genre, all on one screen.
With one Mix Channel, customers can watch multiple live feeds, choose which channel’s audio will play, quickly choose one channel to watch in full screen, and keep captions synced.
Today, DIRECTV launched three new Mix Channels.
Food Mix
Perfect for food lovers and home cooks alike, Food Mix serves up inspiration from top culinary networks in one convenient view. The mix includes Food Network, Tastemade, America’s Test Kitchen, and Sweet Escapes. Available on the Entertainment+ Signature Package and corresponding legacy packages, as well as the MyEntertainment Genre Pack.
Weather Mix (2 Channel)
Stay on top of forecasts and breaking weather coverage with expanded Weather Mix options, offering both two-tile and three-tile views, depending on your package. The mix includes AccuWeather and FOX Weather. Available on the Entertainment Signature Package and corresponding legacy packages, as well as all Genre Packs
Weather Mix (3 Channel)
This mix adds The Weather Channel and is available on the Choice+ Signature Package and corresponding legacy packages.
These new mixes join seven Mix Channels that launched on DIRECTV in August for sports, news, kids programming, and more.
