Did you Get a Bill PlayStation Vue Today? You Can Ignore That…

We are now just a few weeks away from Sony is shutting down its live TV streaming service PlayStation Vue. When Sony announced they would be shutting down PlayStation Vue in January, they also announced that December will be the last time they bill PlayStation Vue subscribers. This means that you will get January for free until the service shuts down. Exactly how long you will get for free depends on when your renewal date is. For example, if you renew on January 1, 2020, you will get the full month of January for free, but if your renewal date is January 25, you only get a few free days of the service.

Some PlayStation Vue subscribers woke up to a surprise email this morning from PlayStation Vue with the subject line “Thank You For Your Purchase.” The good news is Sony did follow through and not bill anyone. If you read the email you will see the total charged was $0. Yet the  subject line of the email did freak out some PlayStation Vue subscribers who had counted on the service being free for the month of January.

If you are a PlayStation Vue subscriber, it may be a good time to start looking around for a new streaming service for when PlayStation Vue shuts down.
