Did DIRECTV NOW & A+E Reach An Agreement Saving A+E, History, and Lifetime? We Take a Look…

A few weeks ago, A+E Networks warned viewers of a possible blackout. That deadline came and passed with A+E agreeing to an extension to continue to offer A+E networks including A+E, Lifetime, and History on DIRECTV NOW.

A+E Networks even launched a website called KeepMyChannels.com to push AT&T to keep A+E Networks. Now it looks like a deal may have been reached as A+E Networks has taken down its website and there has not been any word on the possible blackout for over a week. When we reached out to AT&T for comment about any possible deals with A+E Networks all we received was a no comment at this time reply.

As best we can tell, at least for now, A+E Networks and AT&T have come to a deal that will allow DIRECTV, U-verse TV, and DIRECTV NOW to continue to offer A+E, Lifetime, History, and other A+E owned channels.

The good news is, for now, we can confirm that AT&T TV customers can continue to enjoy A+E Networks. Will that change? For now, it looks like A+E Networks will not be leaving AT&T.
