Right now AT&T has a great deal for new subscribers. It is offering speeds up to 50 Mbps down for just $40 a month plus a $50 gift card to new subscribers. (In short get a free month of Internet.)
I often find the worst Internet deal is when you want to downgrade from a bundle to just Internet. I find the Internet deals they offer to current customers looking to downgrade are often high compared to what new customers would get.
So, as always, I suggest you switch to a different provider. Most areas have at least cable and DSL. (I know not all areas.) Switching between them will help you save a ton on your monthly Internet bill. So next time your bill goes up, and they won’t lower it, look at switching to something like this deal from AT&T.
