CuriosityStream is Lowering its Price and Improving Kids Mode

family watching tvCuriosityStream is adding documentaries to its list of content available on “kids mode” so children can get more educational programming right now while they’re out of school. This is part of the streaming service’s “Stay in, Stay Curious” campaign that emerged in response to helping viewers stay entertained during social distancing and self-quarantine.

“As our world has entered uncharted waters over the past weeks, we have pushed ourselves to accelerate projects like ‘Kids’ Mode’ that we hope will make it a bit easier for parents to keep their kids entertained and learning while providing the peace of mind that they are in a wholesome and safe content environment,” said Devin Emery, head of growth for CuriosityStream. “We want to do what we can to support families and to help kids continue to engage their curiosity while spending more time at home.”

CuriosityStream has also slashed its price to just $12 for an annual subscription, even down from August when it initially was reduced to $2.99/month.
