Comcast Lost 257,000 TV Customers and 104,000 Internet Customers in Q3 2025

Comcast Sign

Comcast reported a loss of 257,000 video customers and 104,000 broadband customers in the third quarter of 2025. The company gained 414,000 wireless customers.

Despite the focus on making major changes to its TV and internet offerings this year, including a standardized pricing model for its internet services, this marks the fourth quarter in a row that Comcast has lost broadband customers.

“We’re making steady progress as we reposition the company for long-term, sustained growth,” said Brian L. Roberts, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Comcast Corporation in the company’s Q3 earnings release Thursday morning. “In Connectivity, we’re taking deliberate steps to strengthen our broadband foundation and accelerate wireless as a meaningful growth engine, adding a record 414,000 wireless lines this quarter – clear evidence of the value of our converged offerings.

Media revenue also dropped for the quarter. Comcast attributes the 19.9% year-over-year dip to lower ad revenue due to the Paris Olympics airing in Q3 2024, which brought in $1.9 billion in incremental revenue.
