Comcast Has Increased its X1 Cloud DVR Storage to 150 Hours

Comcast Logo LargeRecently and without an official announcement, Comcast has increased its cloud DVR storage on X1 from 60 hours to a whopping 150 hours. The company announced it was rolling out this update starting the end of April and hoped to have it complete by June 2020.

Now it seems as though everything went according to plan as the X1 Cloud DVR storage now has an expanded capacity of 150 hours.

If you have Xfinity X1 with DVR service, 150 hours of X1 Cloud DVR are now included at no extra charge for each X1 DVR TV Box on your account. If you exceed your limit for cloud DVR recordings, your most recent recordings will replace older recordings if your save setting is set to Save Until Space Is Needed. You will be unable to record some programming if you have used all of your cloud DVR storage.

With the X1 Cloud DVR, you can set recordings to playback on X1 boxes, smartphones, tablets, web browsers, Roku players and Roku TVs via the Xfinity Stream app. You can also download up to ten recorded programs for watching offline.
