Comcast and Time Warner, two of the largest cable providers, allow customers to access their subscription services on TCL Roku TVs through an app, rather than a cable box. Comcast’s Xfinity Partner app will add more popular programming to TCL Roku TVs and Roku boxes, which already feature the largest selection of streaming content of any smart TV – more than 300,000 movies and television shows on 3,000 plus channels. Without the need for a set-top box, TCL Roku TVs save consumers the cost and clutter of additional hardware.

Comcast’s Xfinity Partner app gives their customers even more options when it comes to consuming the content they love, anywhere and anytime. The app is expected to be available later this year and will provide customers with access to their subscribed programming, including local broadcast, cable and premium networks, Public, Educational and Governmental (PEG) channels, as well as their cloud DVR recordings.
