The Disney+ library is shrinking a little bit this month due to some prior licensing deals with other streaming services and studios before Disney+ was created. This month, users will notice the absence of some Disney like Maleficent, the live action version of Cinderella, and Herbie Fully Loaded, plus some missing 20th Century Studios films including Mrs. Doubtfire, Anastasia, Mr. Poppers Penguins, Rio, and more.
Some of these titles have streaming contracts with other platforms, so you’ll be able to watch them there. Once the contracts are up, they’ll most likely make their way back to Disney+, but the return date is still unknown.
