From arcades to a digital upgrade, nostalgia is coming to a device near you, following Future Today’s launch of the Chuck E. Cheese Media Network. Announced at the 2025 IAB NewFronts, the new streaming initiative aimed at young kids and their families brings the brand known for birthday parties and animatronic jams straight into the living room through HappyKids and its own dedicated FAST (Free Ad-Supported Streaming TV) channel.
The Chuck E. Cheese Media Network will feature branded video content built for kids ages 3–8, available on demand and through a new FAST channel. With this partnership, CEC Network joins other kids’ channels like CoComelon and Blippi on the HappyKids platform. Charles Entertainment Cheese content will also appear inside Chuck E. Cheese locations nationwide, giving the brand a seamless media presence both at home and in-venue.
“With the launch of the CEC Media Network, we’re creating a new family-first media experience—one that blends safe, entertaining content for kids with parent-targeted messaging in an environment where families are already making joyful memories,” said Melissa McLeanas, Vice President of Global Media, Licensing and Entertainment for Chuck E. Cheese in a statement.
For parents, that means more screen time that feels safe and familiar. For kids, it means more of the character they already associate with games, music, and fun.
Future Today Builds a Bigger Streaming Universe, Expands Smart TV Integration
The Chuck E. Cheese channel is just one slice of a much larger rollout. Future Today continues to deliver highly curated, co-viewing experiences for families that blend education, entertainment, and fun. The streaming technology provider unveiled new original programming for its flagship channels Fawesome and HappyKids, including:
- A docuseries exploring the world of internet vigilantes
- An AI-powered art guessing game show
- New lifestyle, romance, and food content through partnerships with Pangea Entertainment, Gusto TV, and the Bold Baking Network
“Entertainment has evolved dramatically in the streaming era, and we’re passionate about creating spaces where generations come together through shared viewing experiences,” said David Di Lorenzo, SVP, Content Acquisitions and Partnerships, at Future Today. “Our channels like HappyKids and Fawesome are designed with co-viewing at their heart, offering content that sparks conversation, laughter and learning between parents and children. We carefully curate and develop programming that balances educational value with entertainment, ensuring viewers find content that’s not only safe but genuinely engaging for everyone in the household.”
As part of its continued push to reach more viewers, Future Today announced an expanded partnership with TCL. Starting later this year, TCL’s Fire TV remotes will include a dedicated button that takes users directly to Fawesome, making it easier than ever to dive into free, on-demand content.
“We are pleased to offer new TCL TV customers direct access to the Fawesome streaming service from the TCL remote,” said Catherine Zhang, VP Content Service & Partnership at TCL. “Our expanded relationship highlights our commitment to enable our users to discover the best-in-class programming on our platform in just one click.”
In a crowded world of streaming, Future Today is carving out a space that speaks directly to families or for any one who is looking for content that’s free, safe, and engaging across age groups. The Chuck E. Cheese Media Network addition isn’t the only addition to their platforms. Last month, Fawesome added channels from Lionsgate, Tastemade and others as part of a much broader strategy to build a FAST ecosystem that’s truly built for everyone.
