Cheddar Will Launch a Live Streaming Channel For Roku Players Tomorrow

Tomorrow Cheddar will officially release a new Roku Channel that will let Roku owners live stream Cheddar and watch top interviews and segments on demand. Cheddar describes themselves as a “unique and live approach to news in technology, media, and entertainment.” Broadcasting daily from the floor of the New York Stock Exchange with exclusive interviews and coverage.

“Roku is the top streaming platform in the US, when looking at hours streamed,” said Cheddar CEO Jon Steinberg. “We are bringing our live broadcast to Roku devices, and I think young technology and business news fans will quickly see the value of Cheddar on the Roku platform.”

The New Cheddar Roku Channel will be available on Roku TV™ 4K models, the Roku Ultra, Roku Premiere+, Roku Premiere, Roku Express, Roku Express+, Roku Streaming Stick (model 3600R), Roku 4, Roku 3 and Roku 2 (model 4210).

“Roku is committed to delivering the best content to our customers,” said Bernarda Duarte, Director of Content Acquisition at Roku. “Adding Cheddar brings a fantastic new dimension to our news offering.”

The new Cheddar Roku channel will offer both free content and a $2.99 a month option for full access.
