CBS All Access Now Lets You View Your Content Offline

Today CBS All Access add the ability to download your content for offline viewing. There are a few catches as for example content from local stations, local news and sports will not be available for offline viewing. Also, downloads are only available to customers in the United States. Subscribers in Canada will have to wait for the service to roll out up there.

Also, the content is only available offline for 30 days after the download, or 48 hours from when you start streaming. The good news is you can always just redownload it again if you want to view it offline.

If you already have the CBS All Access app installed you will need to update the app before you can access the new download and go feature.

Recently CBS All Acess is joining a growing list of services that offer the ability to download videos for offline viewing. Hulu recently added the ability joining Netflix and Amazon as they make streaming offline easier.
