Catchy Comedy is hosting a 24-hour marathon of The Dean Martin Celebrity Roasts this Thanksgiving.

The marathon begins on November 23 at 6:00 a.m. ET through November 24. and will feature 21 episodes of celebrity roasts from the 1970s and 1980s. Filmed in the former MGM Grand Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Martin and his co-hosts roast celebrities like Frank Sinatra, Suzanne Somers, Sammy Davis Jr., Betty White, Bob Hope, and even George Washington.

Catchy Comedy is a sister station of MeTV and, until March, was known as Decades. The streaming service taps into audiences’ love for nostalgic television, featuring classic sitcoms, including The Mary Typer Moore Show, I Love Lucy, Taxi, and Cheers. A study by Hub shows nearly 64% of viewers say their current favorite show is an older show they’ve discovered through streaming, especially in the wake of the dual Hollywood strikes.

Martin was the longtime host of The Dean Martin Show, which aired on NBC from 1965 to 1974. His celebrity roasts debuted as a short segment on his show, which soon grew in popularity and got its own spin-off series in 1974 that ran through 1984. It was revived on Comedy Central in 2003 through 2019, which hosted more cutthroat roasts of celebrities like Chevy Chase and Hugh Hefner compared to Martin’s relatively good-natured riffs.

The roasts feature a “Man/Woman of the Hour” being heckled by comedians and other celebrities seated on a dias, with a chance to retort at the end of the segment. Catch 24 hours of The Dean Martin Celebrity Roasts while you roast your turkey next week.

Catchy Comedy is available on Philo and Frndly TV, online, and through local stations. Enter your zip code here to see where to watch Catchy Comedy in your area.
