Cartoonito Preschool Block is Launching on HBO Max and Cartoon Network This Fall

WarnerMedia Kids & Family announced its new Cartoonito programming block for preschool children will be launching on HBO Max and Cartoon Network on September 13, 2021. The Cartoonito block will take a modern approach to kids’ content by facilitating “humancentric learning,” focused on originality and inclusion. The content will be targeted at preschool audiences of ages 3–6.

“The preschool years are a crucial time for development as children begin to identify, manage and communicate their emotions, build a positive self-image, and begin to make friends,” said Dr. Laura Brown. “This learning framework aims to support these important skillsets through fun, engaging and relevant storytelling that empowers kids to feel comfortable in their own skin, believe anything is possible, treat others with kindness, and stand up to unfairness.”

Cartoonito programming will be featured as a destination page on HBO Max with Little Ellen and the second season of the The Not-Too-Late Show with Elmo, along with other staples, Esme & RoySesame Street and more. It will also be available on Cartoon Network Monday-Friday 6:00am to 2:00om ET/PT. The block will feature new series BingMush-Mush & The Mushables and Thomas & Friends: All Engines Go, with additional new Cartoonito shows on Saturday and Sunday mornings.

“Cartoonito’s offerings on Max and Cartoon Network will reflect a wide array of diverse content that connects kids and their caregivers through relatable stories, lovable characters and meaningful social emotional learning both in and between the shows,” Amy Friedman, head of kids & family programming, WarnerMedia, said in a statement.
