Byron Allen’s Free Direct-To-Consumer Video Streaming SPORTS.TV Launches

Sports fans have a new option to stream their favorite sports via SPORTS.TV. The new streaming platform was launched by Byron Allen’s Allen Media Group’s newly-created Allen Media Digital. The direct-to-consumer free video service will allow fans to watch aggregated content on the SPORTS.TV app

The ad-supported live streaming service aggregates sports, news, movies, documentaries, entertainment networks, and local broadcasts to help connect fans to their favorite sports, teams, games, players, scores, and more on many popular devices. Not only is SPORTS.TV available on the worldwide web, but users can find the app on Apple iOS/iPhone/iPad, Android, Fire TV, and Android TV. There are plans to roll out the digital platform on Roku and Apple TV soon.

“After many years, we have successfully combined the world’s two favorite words–sports and free. Advertisers spend more than $50 billion per year to reach this highly-coveted sports demographic, and I’m happy to announce that SPORTS.TV has already received enormous ad support,” said Byron Allen, Founder, Chairman, and CEO of Allen Media Group. “SPORTS.TV is an innovative free-streaming service connecting sports fans to their favorite sports content, giving our subscribers complete access to all of their favorite teams and players on every device 24/7 for free.”

At launch, fans will be able to enjoy over 60 free channels across the world of sports. Pac12 Insider, HBCUGo.TV, World Poker Tour, Pursuit Up TV, Swerve Sports, SportsGrid, For the Fans, Fight Network, Impact Wrestling, Black Belt TV, MMA TV, Campus Lore, Allied Esports, Outside TV, Horse & Country, NHRA TV,  and Racing America are just some of the channels available right now. There are plans to add more channels to the service throughout 2022, and there are plans to grow SPORTS.TV with the additions of regional sports networks, pay-per-views, ticket sales, merchandise, sales, and sports betting.
