The New BBC America App Comes to The Fire TV

Last week BBC America launched a brand-new app on the Fire TV. Now subscribers to services such as DIRECTV NOW and PlayStation Vue can use their logins to access a ton of BBC America content on their Fire TV. (Note: BBC America must be in your package and your provider must be partnered with BBC America to get access to the BBC America app.)

Here is how BBC America describes their app:

Get caught up in your favorite BBC America shows with full episodes, video extras, and previews of upcoming series. Sample trailers and behind-the-scenes clips or sign in with a login provided by your cable or satellite provider to watch full episodes of Dirk Gently’s Holistic Detective Agency, Orphan Black, Top Gear, The Graham Norton Show, and many more of our programs. Full episodes are available in season, usually the day after broadcast. Most full episodes require a cable or satellite login, though season premieres are sometimes made available with no login required. Plus you can search the library and track recently viewed episodes and resume where you left off.

This comes a few months after BBC America launched a new Roku Channel giving Roku users access to their on-demand content. Now Fire TV owners can also enjoy access to BBC America.
