Last October, Barney came back to screens in a new animated series, Barney’s World. Today, Mattel announced that the series will reach a new international audience as it makes its way to Prime Video Canada today and Netflix Canada later this month.

About Barney’s World
Meet Barney, the singing and dancing purple dinosaur who embodies love. This animated series, co-produced by Mattel Television Studios and Nelvana, is set in the local playground, where Barney is joined by dinos Billy and Baby Bop and their three kid best friends. Throughout silly and imaginative adventures together, Barney helps kids explore big preschool emotions and shows them how to love themselves, others, and their community.
Barney’s World Canada Release Schedule
- Barney’s World on Prime Video Canada: 26 11-minute episodes are available to stream now, with a new batch of episodes coming December 2025.
- Barney’s World on Netflix Canada: 26 11-minute episodes will be available beginning September 25, 2025, with a new batch of episodes coming February 2, 2026.
- Barney’s World on Treehouse: 34 11-minute episodes are available to stream now on STACKTV, with new episodes launching Fridays on Treehouse.
