Forget the Oscars. Forget the Emmys. There’s a new awards show in town, and it’s got a lot more fur.

Bark TV, the 24/7 channel made for dog lovers and their four-legged besties, just launched the Barkademy Awards, a celebration of dogs from all over the world. Think of it as Hollywood’s cutest night, where the red carpet is covered in paw prints and every nominee is a very, very good boy or girl.

Nominations Are Now Open

From now until May 12, proud pup parents can head over to barktvdogs.com/awards to submit photos of their dogs in hopes of snagging a Barkademy title. Categories range from the adorably obvious to the insanely creative:

The winners will be featured in a special broadcast on Bark TV, bringing doggie glory to screens nationwide.

How to Watch the Woof-ness Unfold

If you’re new to Bark TV, here’s what you need to know: it’s basically a dream come true for dog lovers. Whether you’ve got a tail-wagger at home or just love seeing other people’s pups live their best lives, Bark TV offers a mix of original shows, licensed series, training tips, enrichment ideas, and endless dog content.

You can catch Bark TV on:

In short: if you’ve got a screen, there’s a good chance your dog can be on it and a better chance you can watch other dogs win awards on it too.

More Tail-Wagging Fun, Even After the Show

The Barkademy Awards aren’t just a one-night thing. Even outside of the fancy ceremony, you can still get your pup featured on the channel by uploading their best glam shots at BarkTVDogs.com. As Brendan Canning of Triple B Media put it, “If you have a dog, chances are you have a photo or two (thousand) already on your phone.” And now, one of those could turn your furry friend into an internationally recognized tail-thlete.

Looking for tuxedos, teleprompter fails, and politically charged speeches? If so, you’re barking up the wrong tree. The Barkademy Awards might just be the most wholesome thing to hit your screen this year…and it’s free to enter, free to watch, and full of fluff.

So grab the treats, fire up Bark TV, and let the barking begin. Woof.
