AT&T Watch TV Plans to Launch Additional Packages in 2018

Beautiful fashion girl learning on line with a tablet and headphones sitting on a bench in the streetThis week, the AT&T’s Chief Executive Randall Stephenson sat down with The Wall Street Journal. Many of our readers took the story as a push about how cord cutting costs a lot. We broke down how Cord Cutting is saving Americans more than ever HERE, but there was one interesting announcement in the interview.

According to Randall Stephenson, AT&T is looking at rolling out additional AT&T Watch TV packages that will range in price between $15 and $25 a month. These packages will likely include additional features and channels not currently included with the $15 a month AT&T Watch TV service, however, don’t look for the higher plans to be free for current AT&T Unlimited & More customers. Look for AT&T Unlimited & More customers to continue getting their $15 credit per month, meaning the new higher $25 plans will cost them $10 a month.

Currently, AT&T Watch TV offers 33 channels for $15 a month (Or free for AT&T Unlimited & More customers). Which channels will be added is still unknown, but look for it to include more Turner Media-owned channels not currently included with AT&T Watch TV. For now, we will have to wait and see what AT&T plans to do with their new AT&T Watch TV plans later this year.
