We are not sure who decided to pull support for Hulu on AT&T’s Android TV powered streaming player. Other competitors to AT&T TV like Sling TV and Philo are still listed as available for download. It is possible that something about AT&T’s custom Android TV user interface is to blame and caused issues with the new Hulu app. Sadly if you use the AT&T TV streaming player and want Hulu, for now, you will need to get a second streaming player to access Hulu.
It is also possible that Hulu is adopting the same system that Netflix that requires each device to be approved to use their app. When AT&T TV’s streaming player first launched, it did not have access to Netflix at that time. Hopefully, whatever issues are happening here are quickly resolved before AT&T start selling their new AT&T TV branded Android TV powered streaming player.
