AT&T TV NOW logoLast month, we reported that AT&T TV NOW PLUS and MAX plans would be increasing in price. Readers with AT&T TV NOW subscriptions have been reaching out to let us know that they’re receiving notices about the price change which will take effect on November 19, 2019.

With plans now starting at $65/month, is this streaming service worth the price? We’re looking at the channels and features you’ll get with this service and how it compares to other live TV streaming services, below.

Cost

The rising price of AT&T TV NOW is the major concern among current subscribers who are looking at a $15/month increase on November 19th. Grandfathered plans are also increasing by $10/month.

For comparison, these are the monthly costs of other live TV streaming services.

How to Watch

You can watch AT&T TV NOW on the following devices:

Noticeably missing from the list is Android TV and Xbox One, which are compatible with Hulu, YouTube TV, and Sling.

Channels

If you opt for the less expensive PLUS package, you’ll get over 45 channels with your subscription. Unlike most other services, AT&T TV NOW includes HBO with standard packages. You can also add other premium channels for an additional monthly fee.

AT&T TV NOW subscribers likely won’t have to worry about losing Disney owned channels from the service when Disney+ launches. Disney and AT&T TV have made a deal to keep the content on the service.

These are the channels you’ll get with the AT&T TV NOW PLUS package.

Number of Streams

AT&T TV NOW currently offers 2 simultaneous streams. They’ve announced that the number will increase to 3 streams in the future.

Meanwhile, YouTube TV offers 3 simultaneous streams while FuboTV and Hulu are, like AT&T TV NOW, offer 2 simultaneous streams.

Cloud DVR

Currently, AT&T TV NOW packages come with 20 hours of free storage. However, we’ve heard that AT&T TV NOW will be offering a 100 hour add-on this month.

With the add-on, AT&T TV NOW would be ahead of FuboTV with 30 hours, Hulu with 50 hours, and Sling with 50 hours (with a Cloud DVR add-on).
