AT&T TV NOW Ends Support For Roku Players & Roku TVs As It’s Contract Ends

Today AT&T TV NOW ended support for Roku players and Roku TVs. If you have the channel installed, you can still use it. Sadly if you don’t, you won’t be able to add it to your Roku TV and Roku Player.

According to AT&T, they are in talks with Roku and hope to return the app to Roku soon. If you already had the AT&T TV Roku Channel installed, you can still use it, but new AT&T TV NOW customers will not be able to add the channel.

Recently AT&T has been limiting its support for Roku devices. The AT&T Watch TV service never did get support for Roku TVs and Roku Players.

Update: Here is the statement from AT&T’s support page about ending Roku support:

Heads up: Starting January 1, 2020, you won’t be able to add the AT&T TV channel to your Roku device. Already have AT&T TV on your Roku device? You can keep using it as long as you don’t delete the app. We’re actively working on a new agreement with Roku and hope to resolve this soon.
