AT&T TV NOW Adds Support for The Microsoft Edge Browser

Good news for AT&T TV NOW subscribers as now you can use the newly updated Microsoft Edge to stream AT&T TV NOW. You do need the most recent version of Edge for this to work but Microsoft Edge is now supported by AT&T TV NOW. You can download the newest version of the Microsoft Edge browser HERE.

At one point, before the name change, DIRECTV NOW dropped support for all web browsers other than Chrome. At that time, AT&T released this statement:

For our best streaming experience, DIRECTV NOW will live exclusively on Google Chrome when accessed via your computer. We will no longer be supporting Safari or Internet Explorer browsers after June. And of course the DIRECTV NOW App will still be your go-to when streaming on your mobile devices.

Soon after that statement, support for Safari was added back.

Now, we have confirmed that AT&T TV NOW has added supported for the Microsoft Edge browser. These subscribers reported that they were able to watch content on the browser after the most recent Edge update.

AT&T TV NOW’s website has not yet been updated to reflect Edge support, still only showing Chrome and Safari on the list of supported devices.
