AT&T TV NOW Adds New DVR Features to Its Live Feed on More Devices

AT&T TV NOW logoLate last year AT&T started to roll out an updated DVR to its AT&T TV NOW service. Subscribers may not have noticed any changes, but the back end of AT&T’s DVR service on AT&T TV NOW was expanded and improved according to AT&T.

The only noticeable change at the time was beta testers who still had 100 hours of DVR storage on AT&T TV NOW were downgraded to 20 DVR hours. Now some of the new DVR improvements have started to show up.

Recently AT&T TV NOW added the ability to pause live TV, rewind, and fast forward AT&T TV NOW on a handful of devices. AT&T TV NOW has added this ability to pause live TV even if you are not DVRing it, so you can rewind and fast forward through a program as you watch it.

This feature had already been on a handful of devices, and AT&T has added it to all AT&T TV NOW supported devices to the best of our knowledge.

AT&T had reportedly been planning to roll out a 100-hour DVR add-on that would allow subscribers to pay for additional DVR storage. For some reason, AT&T has yet to follow through on this new DVR feature, and subscribers are still limited to 20 hours of DVR storage. Hopefully, soon this new DVR add-on will be available, which would give AT&T TV NOW subscribers even more storage options.
