AT&T TV announced today that expanded features are coming to streaming customers this week. Beginning February 25, plans will see more simultaneous streams and unlimited cloud DVR.
What’s Changing for AT&T TV Customers
More simultaneous streams
AT&T TV customers now have up to 20 simultaneous streams on any device inside their homes. The change comes in response to feedback from customers, who say they need more streams to quench their huge thirst for content. Until now, customers were limited to 3 simultaneous streams. Best of all, there’s no additional charges for this new feature and no action is needed by the customer. All customers, whether on month-to-month or longer-term contracts, get the feature automatically.
Note that Some networks are excluded from the 20 in-home streams, including Fox networks, Starz, NHL Network, Showtime, and PBS.
Unlimited hours of Cloud DVR
Customers who subscribe to the 500 hours of Cloud DVR package will automatically get unlimited hours of Cloud DVR. Unlimited hours of Cloud DVR is available for $10 a month, allowing customers to build a binge-worth library or record their favorite sports teams, award shows or newscasts. Customers don’t have to be home to watch their recordings – they can be accessed virtually anytime, anywhere through the AT&T TV app.
