AT&T Plans to Launch 5G in 31 Cities by Early 2019

Girl on PhoneThis week AT&T announced that they plan to roll out 5G home internet to 12 cities by the end of 2018 and 19 more cities in early 2019.

According to AT&T, they plan to roll out 5G internet to Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Nashville, Orlando, San Diego, San Francisco, San Jose, Atlanta, Charlotte, Dallas, Indianapolis, Oklahoma City, Raleigh, and Waco by the end of 2018. (We do not know what markets will get AT&T’s 5G service first yet; however, Atlanta, Charlotte, Dallas, Indianapolis, Oklahoma City, Raleigh, and Waco were the first markets announced to get 5G by AT&T.)

What other 19 cities that will get 5G internet in early 2019 is still unknown. Hopefull,y AT&T will announce the markets soon.

AT&T has said they plan to start rolling out 5G in the next few weeks. Verizon already has a 5G network live in a handful of markets, offering home internet with no data cap for just $50 a month. AT&T has yet to announce any pricing or restriction on their 5G network.
