AT&T announced it’s rolling out faster internet speeds and more security features for its AT&T Fiber customers. Internet plan speeds will increase by up to 200Mbps, and customers will get access to the latest addition toAT&T’s security suite AT&T ActiveArmor for protection from digital threats.
Entry and mid-level customers are getting a 200Mbps boost to their current speeds, while the 100Mbps plans will upgrade to 300Mpbs which is the fastest entry speed compared to other major cable providers. In addition, current 300Mbps customers will see their plans boosted to 500Mbps. The upgrades will roll out automatically with no increased fees to customers.
As for security, it’s getting beefed up too with the company offering AT&T Internet Security to AT&T Fiber customers at no additional cost. Customers will now have access to the Smart Home Manager app and receive an automatic guard from online threats throughout their whole home, including on Wi-Fi.

1 GIG: $60/month for a year + taxes and $10/month equip fee*

300Mbps: $35/month for a year + taxes and $10/month equip fee*
- Internet 300 provides users with upload and download speeds of up to 300Mbps, consistently fast speeds even at peak times, and allows users to connect 10+ devices at once throughout the entire home.
