AT&T Internet Air 5G Home Broadband Adds Four Markets

AT&T’s 5G home internet service, which it calls Internet Air, expanded to four new markets.

The company said on Wednesday that the Cleveland-Akron area of Ohio, Denver, the Orlando-Gainesville area of Florida and the area around Providence, Rhode Island and New Bedford, Massachusetts, will offer Internet Air.

The four markets add to what has been a slower start from AT&T for its 5G home internet service. The company is years behind both T-Mobile and AT&T, who both add hundreds of thousands of new customers per quarter, and has just started playing catch up.

AT&T positions its Internet Air service as a simplified service with quick self-installation and a steady $55-a-month rate.
