AT&T & Disney Have Reached an Agreement in Principle Keeping ESPN, The Disney Channel, & More on DirecTV, U-verse TV, & AT&T TV Now

Today Cord Cutters News has confirmed that AT&T and Disney have reached a deal in principle to keep ESPN and other Disney-owned channels on AT&T TV, AT&T TV NOW, U-verse TV, and DIRECTV. This means subscribers to AT&T’s services won’t lose Disney owned channels and Disney owned ABC affiliates including WABC Channel 7, KABC Channel 7, WTVD ABC 11, KGO ABC 7, KTRK ABC 13, KFSN ABC 30, WLS ABC 7, and WPVI ABC 6.

Update: Cord Cutters News has confirmed with The Walt Disney Company that a deal in principle has been reached with AT&T to avoid any blackouts. The deal is not final as both Disney and AT&T’s lawyers have to go over the contract but a preliminary deal is now in place to prevent any blackouts.

This is great news for college football fans who can now enjoy their football on ESPN this weekend without the fear of a possible blackout.
