AT&T & Disney Have Reached a Deal in Principle for Disney Programming On AT&T TV NOW & DIRECTV

Today during its earnings call Disney announced that AT&T and Disney have reached a deal in principle for Disney channels on AT&T TV NOW. Disney was quick to add that the deal is not final as they are still working on finalizing the details. This deal means AT&T will be able to keep Disney programming on AT&T TV NOW and DIRECTV.

This deal was first reported back in September but now Disney has confirmed a deal in principle is in place but no formal deal has been reached. For now it looks like AT&T and Disney will reach a deal without any blackouts of Disney-owned networks like ESPN and the Disney Channel.

This is great news for college football and NBA fans who can now enjoy their football and Basketball on ESPN without the fear of going dark on AT&T TV services.
