AT&T 5G is Now Nationwide

AT&T announced today that its 5G network for consumers and businesses is now nationwide. All current AT&T unlimited wireless plans will come with AT&T 5G a no additional cost, beginning August 7.

Businesses, developers and consumers are already tapping into 5G’s potential and we’re thrilled for customers across the U.S. to experience it for themselves. It’s an exciting time in technology.”

On August 7, AT&T will be expanding is 5G access to include its Unlimited Starter plan. The plan starts at $35 for 5 lines. Previously, 5G access was limited to the two most expensive plans, the Unlimited Extra and Unlimited Elite plans.

AT&T Prepaid customers can purchase a 5G enabled device and access 5G on an Unlimited Plus plan. Cricket Wireless customers will be able to access 5G service on August 21, if they have a Samsung Galaxy S20+ 5G phone.
