Are You Using an Antenna? Only 56.3% of Cord Cutters Say Yes

Of the 3000+ readers who responded to our annual cord cutting survey, 56.3% said that they use an antenna as part of their cord cutting setup. 40.7% said that they do not use an antenna.

If you’re part of the 40.7% who aren’t using an antenna, you’re missing out.

Earlier this year, we shared five reasons that an antenna should be a part of your cord cutting setup. Even if you’re already getting all of the channels you need from your streaming services, an antenna can add to your channel lineup, give you better picture quality, and let you watch live events without blackouts.

According to CTA’s Understanding Over-the-Air Antenna Use Report from this year, more cord cutters than ever are finding the value in an antenna. Antenna usage has gone up by 11% in the past nine years.
