We’ve been in a dry spell when it comes to movie-going this year, so if you’re thirsty for some big-screen entertainment, Fandango now has advanced tickets available for purchase for The New Mutants starring Maisie Williams, Anya-Taylor Joy and Charlie Heaton.
The 20th Century Fox film is scheduled to hit theaters on August 28 and Fandango is ready to help get the cinema experience back to normal with a comprehensive reopening plan to help customers feel safe and confident returning to theaters.
“With theaters starting to reopen in markets across the country, fans are eager to learn which ones have posted showtimes and what they are doing to help keep moviegoers safe,” says Fandango Chief Commercial Officer Kevin Shepela. “As not all venues across the country are open, Fandango has worked with theaters to create a one-stop resource guide where fans can check the status of their local screens and find information the theaters have provided for a comfortable return to the movies.”
The Fandango experience on its website and app has new resources to help movie-goers in their return to theaters, including maps with social distance seating, an easy one-stop guide to more than 100 theater chains’ safety policies, a search filter to find reopened movie theaters and more. With theaters encouraging patrons to buy tickets in advance, Fandango is a great place to purchase tickets before you get to the movie house to avoid unnecessary points of contact at the box office.
Since this summer has been a rollercoaster of delayed movie releases, Fandango offers the ability to refund and exchange ticket purchases up to the posted showtime.
