Apple Updates tvOS to Version 13.4, Available Now

Apple TV and Remote
It’s software update time for Apple devices, with the company releasing a number of new operating system revisions for Apple TVs, iPhones, iPads, and more. On the Apple TV side, MacRumors reports that the latest version adds Family Sharing integration, making it easier to access content purchased on iTunes by other family members. Overall, though, tvOS 13.4 brings some minor tweaks. In fact, Apple’s support page lists the changes simply as “general performance and stability improvements.” Those looking for the rumored new Kids Mode or screen time options will have to wait a bit longer.

The tvOS update supports fourth- and fifth-generation Apple TV models. The jump to tvOS 13 brought a number of changes to the platform, including multi-user support, Apple Arcade, and the ability to use popular game controllers like Sony’s DualShock 4 and Microsoft’s Xbox Wireless Controller.

Meanwhile, iOS 13.4 adds iCloud folder sharing via the Files app and new Memoji stickers among other updates. The iPad line, however, gets a more significant upgrade, thanks to the ability to use trackpads and mice, adding a new layer of productivity abilities to Apple’s tablet.

For Apple TV users, you can learn how to update to the latest tvOS version by using Apple’s support docs.
