Apple TV is Coming to Xbox One, Series S, Series X Next Week

Xbox is adding one more streamer to its list of supported apps. In an announcement today, Microsoft shared that the Apple TV app is coming to Xbox One and Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S on November 10.

Microsoft also shared a list of additional services that will be available when the new consoles launch, including Netflix, Disney+, HBO Max, Spotify, YouTube, YouTube TV, Amazon Prime Video, Hulu, NBC Peacock, Vudu, FandangoNow, Twitch, Sky Go, NOW TV, Sky Ticket and more.

With the Apple TV app, Xbox users will have access to Apple TV+, with a $5/month subscription, Apple TV channels, and more shows and movies. With an Apple TV+ subscription, users can watch originals and exclusives like Mythic Quest: Raven’s Banquet, Ted LassoThe Morning ShowSeeServant, Tehran, Greyhound, and Beastie Boys Story.

“With our new consoles, immerse yourself with fuller colors, enhanced dynamic range, and spatial sound just as the filmmakers and creators intended on Xbox Series X|S with Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos, which are supported on apps like Netflix, Disney+, and Vudu,” the company shared in its announcement. “Together, these advanced audiovisual technologies will take your favorite entertainment to new heights through ultravivid picture quality – incredible brightness, contrast, color, and detail – alongside immersive moving audio that will transport you to new worlds.”
