Apple TV Expands Its Universal Search

Today Apple announced that they have expanded universal search options for movies and TV shows on the Apple TV and Apple TV 4K. Starting today the universal search in the United States added Classix, Oxygen, and the BBC America app. (Just a reminder that Apple TVs universal search only works for apps you have installed.)

That is not the only apps added today. The United States is still the country with the most Apple TV listings, other countries are seeing expansion as well. Canada is getting Classix, FXNOW Canada, Treehouse, CBC TV, and ICI Tou.tv, among others. Norway and Sweden are getting Viaplay, while Australia is getting 9Now, Tenplay, and SBS listings. More countries are getting Apple Music search, too, including multiple European countries, Canada, Mexico, Australia, and Japan.
